Welcome to Still Waters Press: Books for Healing, Growth, and the Life You’re Becoming

There are seasons in life when we need more than quick advice or surface-level encouragement. We need words that slow us down. Words that help us breathe, reflect, and find our footing again. That is the heart behind Still Waters Press.

This store was created as a home for books that speak to real people living real lives. People who are healing. People who are growing. People who are learning how to move forward with more intention, more grace, and a little more peace than they had yesterday.

Each book here was written from a different place, but they all come from the same desire: to encourage others through the seasons that shape us.

Beyond the Bottle: Coaching for Lasting Addiction Recovery was written for those who want more than simply quitting a substance. Recovery is about rebuilding a life, understanding what needs to change, and learning how to keep choosing freedom one day at a time. This book offers support, reflection, and guidance for the deeper work that lasting recovery asks of us.

Pages of Renewal: Journaling Your Path to Spiritual Fitness was created for anyone longing to reconnect with themselves and with God in a more intentional way. Through gentle prompts and space for honest reflection, it invites readers to slow down, notice what is happening within, and create a steady rhythm of spiritual growth.

Surviving the Terrible Twos: A Parent’s Guide to Thriving with Your Toddler came from another real-life season entirely—the beautiful, exhausting, sometimes bewildering world of toddlerhood. It offers practical encouragement for parents who need reassurance that they are not failing; they are simply parenting through a demanding stage that requires patience, perspective, and support.

At first glance, these books may seem very different. But to me, they belong together.

They are all about becoming.

Becoming healthier.
Becoming steadier.
Becoming more present.
Becoming the kind of person who does not give up in the middle of a hard season.

Still Waters Press is not just a bookstore. It is a quiet corner for reflection, renewal, and honest growth. My hope is that when you visit, you find something that meets you where you are—whether you are rebuilding your life, nurturing your faith, or simply trying to make it through the toddler years with your sense of humor intact.

Thank you for being here at the beginning of this journey. I am grateful to share these books with you, and I hope they offer encouragement exactly where you need it most.

With hope,
Michelle Coffin
